14/09/2020 Liquidate the patient's account through donations

Note :

There is a current Donations Management window to perform donations from donation letters. It allows to create donation policies and to bill donors through a Consolidated Invoice. It will not replace the Collections and Assignments donations but improves its usability by allowing adding donation letters (promise of payments).


In this module you can do the following functions:

  1. Register institutions or individual donors to register your donations.

  2. Associate the donation with the patient and liquidate the account.

  3. Check donations report.

Workflow

How to use it?

  1. You must have the settings (go to Settings to know how to do them).

  2. In the Collections and Assignments option, register the donation by first looking for the name of the donor and adding the amount.

3. In Financial assignments to patients, assign the donation.

If you already have the registered patient, just look for it and go to the Financial donor's section to enter the amount of the donation.

4. In the Multibilling option, the patient's account is liquidated with the donation.

  • The cancellation of the donation is not allowed if it is already partially or totally assigned to a patient.

  1. You can consult the accounting of the donation.

  2. Canceling a donation is only possible if it is not assigned to a patient.

1. Register the patient, Add contacts, Add details of your insurance policy.

2. Create patient account

3. You can unassign or remove the donation assigned to the patient.

and see the accounting entry generated.

Return of donations

  1. Returns the part of the donation that has not been assigned to the patient. Print the check policy.

1. Cashier Balance, you can see the total amount paid with donations.

2. Cashier closing, you can check the amounts for donations.

3. Cash reconciliation, check the report for the total amount for donations.

Alerts and Messages

1. Message: The donation balance is insufficient to cancel the requested donation.

Where: Collections and Assignments / Document action.

When: When Document action is Void or Reverse.

Why: Need the full amount available to cancel.

Action: Unassign the donation.

Settings

  1. In the Business Partner function, record the donor's data and identify it by checking the Is Donor box.

2. In the Forms of the Payment window, configure Donation.

3. In the same window, set up the refund for cases when the total donation is not assigned to the patient.

4. In the Sequence of documents window, configure the initial number. If you do not have access, request it by chat before starting to use this module.
