You can configure the maximum number of days that must pass for a encounter can be considered as follow-up.
Can perform the configuration to organization or specility level. Follow the steps:
Go to Configuration of Medical Record.
Choose the Follow Up Days tab in right menu.
Modify Organization or a Specility required.
Save the changes.
Once the configuration is done, when marking an encounter as follow-up, it will only show you as an option those encounters that are within the configured range number.
Example based on the previoues image, when creating a follow-up encounter:
For the Cardiology specialty, only the encounters that occurred in the last 10 days will be shown, but for the rest of the specialties, those that occurred in the last 14 days will be displayed.
Note: When you configure this option, automatically the charges for follow up encounters will be 0.
