1. What you need to know
The hospital census includes the patients who were registered on the Encounter admissions window.
You can search the information using the filters: Patient Type and Service Unit.
The system will display the following information:
Patient
Bed
Date of birth
Age
Sex
File
Patient encounter
Patient Type
Service unit
Admit Date
Chief Complaint
Diagnosis
Physicians
Referring Physician
Specialty
Institution
Pre-discharged
Length of stay
2. The benefits
To have a report to view the active patients in the hospital with detailed information.
3. Start report
1. Open the window "Hospital Census".
2. Select the Patient Type.
3. Select the Service Unit related with the Patient Type.
4. Click on the icon "Lookup Record".
5. You'll see the information displayed in the Results Section.
View the active patients in the organization.
After finishing the aforementioned steps
You'll have generated the Hospital Census report.
