We have now improved the Abstracting window by adding an additional separate Charges subtab for cash type invoices where users will be able to complete the coding for this type of charges and not only for insurance charges.
With this enhancement you will be able to complete the coding for charges of patients who will be paying all of the charges or some charges by themselves - in a separate invoice - by including all of those cash charges in a separate section.
The current Charges subtab for insurance charges will not be impacted since Charges and Charges (Cash) will display every charge added according to their payment form. See more below :

You will see any cash invoice charges listed on this subtab, differentiated from those insurance charges (that will be listed in the current Charges subtab), allowing you to complete coding with data from this type of invoices too.
