Now when you create an encounter you have the ability to mark it as a subsequent “Follow up” encounter from a previous encounter from that patient.
To do this you need to
Have a previous encounter for a patient
When creating a new encounter, mark it as “Follow up encounter”
Select against which past encounter of that patient it is “follow up”.
For example you can enter the "Current Encounters" section and click on the "new record" button
Then capture the name of a patient and click the "OK" button to enter the Encounters window
Then all you need to do is fill all the requiered data, mark the option "Is followed up", select the encounter that is related to the one you are creating and click the "Save" button
