12/06/2021 Allows you to create bills for subsequent early consultations at any required fare

When scheduling a subsequent patient encounter sometimes you will require to see this patient earlier than expected. Many of these unexpected patient encounters can be, as part of the Hospital policy, at a different price. For this reason we adjusted our patient encounter interface in order to allow you to create subsequent consultation bills that can be set at any price (even zero, if required).

In order to do this, first you must schedule and bill a regular consultation. Whenever you require to schedule a new encounter you must go again to the Current Encounters window and look for your existent patient. Then fill up the missing information like Patient type and Service, then fill out the Chief complaint box where you can describe your patient's symptoms or reason for consultation. After checking the "is followed up", a box with your previous encounters will appear.

Save this encounter and then go again to the Encounter Dashboard. Here you will be able to find all of your scheduled encounters. Type your patient's name and then click on the result below.

While at this screen, please click on Encounter charges:

Now click on the plus button at the top left corner of your screen. Then, on the Product line enter or look for your consultation and fill the rest of the mandatory information. Check below that your price and total are correct and save.

To bill this encounter now go to Multibilling interface, here you'll be able to find any encounter that's been scheduled. Click on your encounter, select from where you're submitting this bill and confirm.

To generate a payment extension now click on the plus button as seen below. Then select your charges below, pick your extension on "Move to" and then add them to your patient's account on the button to the right of the box. Confirm by selecting them again on your patient's window and generate it on the settings button to the top right corner of your screen.
