Upcoming Release. Not yet on Production.

Until now, Cirrus users were allowed to assign expired policies from Apollo to incoming patients, causing errors since these policies were not valid anymore. To fix this issue, we have updated our validation of expiration dates for policies, here are the improvements:

  1. Insurance Policy Manager

Here you can validate expiration dates for all of the current policies. Those that are about to expire will no longer appear on Insurance information tab of Patient Registration window so any changes on this information must be performed here*:

*Note: Any changes to policies expiration must be performed by authorized users.

  2. Patient Registration window

The changes on Insurance Information tab (Patient Registration window) are the following:

    • If you look for a Minor Company with no valid policies, it will no longer will shown:

    • If you try to assign an expired policy by its number, it will no longer appear on Policy Type:

  • And if you add first the Minor Company and / or its sequence number, Policy will not be displayed as well:

  • If you assign any policy that is about to expire within the following 3 months, you will be notified by Cirrus that this policy will expire soon. Users can decide if they want to assign this policy or another policy.

With this improvement we will bring you more certain information about validity of policies, preventing you from choosing invalid options.

We hope this improves your Cirrus experience. Remember to share this information and ask for help if you need it.
