1. Close encounter when discharge
1. In order to close an encounter from the option Discharge, the checkbox with the option Close encounter when discharge in the Configuration of Medical Record* must be selected.
2. After opening the option Nurse Dashboard/Patient Discharge/Discharge, select the discharge date, capture the discharge motive if you have one, and click on Save.
*This window is for ECS staff use only and this configuration must be requested via ticket or chat.

You'll have closed the encounter when discharge.
