Collect debt amounts for accounts receivable invoices

After completing the invoice collection of charges for business partners that created any accounts receivable collection entry, you can complete the collection of those charges ,whenever they get paid partially or fully, in Collections and Assignments window.

Follow these steps to collect those charges:

  1. Go to Collections and Assignments window and create a New Record

  2. Fill Header with all of the missing data: Customer (Company) name, Collection method, Bank account, Amount of collection.

  3. Click process to complete

  4. A new pop-up window will appear where Cirrus will ask if you would like to allocate this payment to an existing invoice. Click Yes to look for your invoice.

  5. All of the accounts receivable invoices for this customer will appear on results below, select the invoice that you would like to allocate.

  6. Fill Detail missing fields: Allocation date, Bad debt amound or check the Pay bill box to fill this information automatically and if all of the amount will be covered in one exhibition.

You can go back to the Collection and Assignments window and search for this payment. Select it to see this information again.
