1. You can apply charges.
2. You can access the window from the Nurse Dashboard.
3. You can search automatic charges from:
. Room from the Daily Charges window.
. Provides services from the window Service Orders.
. Package from the window Current encounters.
. Item from the window Movement confirmation.
. Trays from the window Return of tray.
. Outpatient service from the window Patient or Physician Type/Physician information by organization.
2. The benefits
To have the functionality of applying charges generated from the inpatient/outpatient care, and be able to collect payments electronically for taxation purposes.
3. Start applying charges
Follow the next steps:
1. Open the window, search the encounter and click on the result.
2. Click on the button Charges to patient encounter.
3. Click on the Add icon.
4. Search and select a service, capture price amount, measurement unit, date and time.
Finalize with click on the Save button or press Enter to continue applying charges.
Alert! Medical supplies and medications
For inventory control and management purposes, you need to have items in stock to add any of these products.
5. When you add items, the system shows the same information including the warehouse locator or physical location from where the medications or medical supplies were dispatched.
6. Save and close the window to finalize applying charges.
After finishing the steps listed above
You'll see the charges listed in the encounter.
You'll be able to keep applying charges as long as the encounter is not closed.
