Now, in Package and version window you can duplicate package versions and edit their copies to prevent you from having to modify the original version linked to current encounters. Here's more information about this improvement:
To copy a version, go to Package and Version, enter any package from the ones that already exist in our organization.
Now select the original version for this package and click context menu.
Click on Copy Version
This will generate another version called with the same name as the original version plus ' - Copy ' . Also it will have as a valid starting date the current date.
You can change its name by double clicking on it. You can also edit the package detail (products info) in context menu and View package detail :
Here you can add or edit its current products:
Note:
You will not be able to assign two versions of the same package to one patient encounter. To replace their package version first you must mark the current one as inactive and then add the new version in Current Encounters :
