Patient encounter header, available in windows like Multibilling, Pending Order Authorization, Pharmacist Dashboard, Outpatient Pharmacy Dashboard, Service Orders, Nurse Dashboard has been improved by performing some changes that will let users know more details about policies and policy discounts (like deductibles, copayments, coinsurance and limits).
The new features for this header are :
In Company, we will now display the Policy name, instead of Major company name. This to let you know what policy is being applied for this patient encounter.
New information button for Insurance Policy discounts that will display discounts by patient type, product class and service station.
If you click on Insurance policy discounts icon (i), a new pop-up window will appear and it will display all of the policy discounts that apply for this encounter :
Policy name is obtained from the Policy Type function in Insurance Information tab (Patient Registration) :
