Encounters with completed coding in Abstracting window were recently improved and are now locked from users who did not complete this process, this to prevent encounters from being edited by more than one user. Now, we have implemented a new checkbox to give supervisors full access to this window. See more details below :
Example of record finished by another user
In Abstracting window, select any encounter completed by another user :
Their information will appear in view only mode :
To prevent this from happening to supervisors, follow the configuration below.
For administrators configuration:
(check with your IT Admins or contact us via ticket or chat)
Go to Role window
Select the role you would like to give this access (supervisors, admin) and check their role type.
In Role tab, go to Abstracting Fully Access checkbox and select it
Save
Now supervisors will be able to edit data for any encounter with completed coding:
We hope this improves your Cirrus experience. Remember to share this information and ask for help if you need it.
