Functionality to group business partners

This module allows you to create business partner groups in a practical and simple way, categorizing according to the Type of partner, which could be : Customer, Supplier, Creditor or Debtor.

In this way errors in the accounting configuration are avoided.

Listed below are the partner types and what will happen when creating a business partner by selecting that type.

  • Customers: Activates the sales price list combo and their respective ledger accounts for Customer. You can choose between Insurance, Other Company or Individual type.

  • Suppliers: Activates the purchase price list combo and the respective ledger accounts for Supplier. Useful when having service or medicine suppliers, etc.

  • Creditors: Inactivates the sale/purchase price list combos and activates the accounting accounts: Creditors-National Currency and Diverse Foreign Creditors. Useful when having fee-based staff.

  • Debtors:Inactivate both sale/purchase price list combos and activate the Debtors - National Currency ledger account. Useful for handling diverse debtors.

How to use it?

A. Create a new Business Partner Group

  1. Click on New Record


  2. Fill up missing data. These may vary according to the business partner type.

a Company: Automáticamente se llena con la información de tu empresa Automatically filled with your own company data.

b Organization: Select organization.

c Group Type: Clients, Suppliers, Creditors, Debtors, Clients/Suppliers.

d Code and Business partner group : Code and name to identify your business partner group.

f Sale Pricelist: List of prices that business partners will use if they belong to this group.

g Purchase pricelist : List of purchasing prices that business partners that belong to this group will use.

h Type : Type of business partner.

i Nphies TPA license

j Check By default

k Is TPA check

l Active check : Select this check to set your group as active.

m Is Insurance check

3. Click on Save.

4. You will a confrmation message You will see the confirmation message of successful saving and the ledger accounts corresponding to the type of partner you have chosen.

B. Check existing business partner groups.

  1. You can check the business partner groups that you have created by searching for:

- Code, Business partner group and Type.

- Business partner group and Type.

- Only Type.

2. By clicking on the search icon, you will be able to see the results in the Search Results section.

What you need to know.

Having a business partner group configuration is very important, since it allows you to identify and group the types of partners you have.

1. In Business Partner :

Depending on the selected Business Partner Type, the enabled data show will change, to be filled while registering a business partner in Business Partner window. Such information must be entered when choose the company group, where you can view the existing business partner groups.


If you need to know the details about such business partner group, click on the Business Partner Group tag or right click on the field and select View Detail.

The Business Partner Group screen will open up :

Note: Although a price or sale list is configured in the Business Partner Group option, for the business partners belonging to that group, the priority will be given to the list that is registered in Business Partner when you create your partner.

2. In List Discount Scheme Maintenance

You will be able to select a group of business partners to create a discount scheme for them. In the Customer Group option you can see the existing business partner groups, including the one created as an example.

3. In Tax Category

Also in this option you can select a group of partners.

Settings

When saving a Business Partner Group, the accounting accounts corresponding to the type of partner you have chosen are shown in the accounting section. You can select others if you require it.

  1. Go to the Accounting section.

  2. Find the accounting account that you are going to modify and the button calculate that is immediately. Click on the button, a new window will open where you can enter the data of the accounting account that you are going to use.
