Simplified Admission of Patients

Quick Patient Registration is the window where you may admit patients in a quick way, allowing you to only fill up the most urgent admission fields and saving you minutes during admission processes. This functionality, however, does not replace Patient Registration and it will only allow admission users to enter multiple patients fast. Data for this patients can be modified later in Patient Registration.

See this process below.

Go to Quick Patient Registration and :

  1. Fill Patient Data section with :

    • First Name

    • Middle Name

    • Last Name

    • Maternal Last Name (if applies for your country)

    • Date of Birth

    • Sex

    • Generate MRN

    • Nationality

    • Patient ID Type and Number

  2. If you may, also enter Emergency contacts information such as :

    • Primary phone

    • Phone of close familiar

    • E-mail

    Now, follow with the insurance information if this patient has any insurance policy.

  3. Billing Data.

    • Select if patient is the guarantor or fill-up with the guarantor's name and their billing address.

    • Enter Company, Minor, Policy Number, Member ID and other policy data.

  4. Validate Policy information on NPHIES :

    Here you can validate policy benefits by viewing NPHIES coverage, viewing System Policy Benefits and checking NPHIES coverage eligibility :

After you've completed admitting the patient, save your changes :

Other Scenarios:

  • You can create a new encounter from Quick Patient Registration in context menu and selecting Create Encounter.

  • You can edit patient data such as adding data for any missing fields (Tax ID, Religion, Blood Type in Patient Registration window.

  • In Patient Registration you can also add contact information, change or add insurance information, add allergies, notes and view encounter history.
