Patients often require to be between a legal age range in order to be admitted without the company of their guardian but this age may depend on local legislation or costumes or even be decided by the organization.
To improve the configuration process, we have now moved the settings fields for this data, from Configuration of Medical Record to Country Region and City, Internationalization section (accessed only by ECS Staff and System managers) .

Now, to configure these fields, go to Country Region and City (only for authorized staff, ask for configuration if needed) and select the Internationalization tab.
Select the Require Legal Guardian checkbox.
Now enter the Maximum Legal Age (in Years), which is the maximum age where any adult patient could be admitted without guardianship.
E.g.: Cirrus will use the Legal Age as the minimum age for patients to be admitted and Max. Legal Age as the maximum so if we set these values with 18 and 75, any patient below 18 and over 75 years old will be required guardianship during their registration :
After saving their patient record, you will be remembered that you must enter their guardianship contact info before creating the encounter:
To save any contact as their legal guardian (Contact Information), select Legal Guardian as their relationship to the patient :
