The following upgrade will only impact System admins and other ECS Staff users.
Service Orders screen has now an improved interface that will allow you to manage HL7 service messaging with our two new buttons : Messaging Dashboard and HL7 Web Service Log, this in the context menu for every LIS and RIS service request with the HL7 configuration.
HL7 options in context menu
You can now view and manage messaging information for HL7 requests in our three new context menu options that can be found to the right side of each service order (visible only if the user has access to the window) :
Messaging Dashboard
Opens the option with the generated Hl7 message sent to SmartConnector.
Here you can view LIS/RIS orders status and their message :
You can change their view mode to regenerate message if there was any error and Resend the Message :
HL7 Web Service Log
Opens the option with the log result when a message is received from SmartConnector (e.g. Laboratory results) :
Processing date will show you when this log occured and description will give you the details.
February 6 2023 Update : HL7 Message Not SentNow, when an HL7 request has not been sent successfully, the message will appear warning that it was not sent:
This in order to be able to verify if the request could not be sent due to a connection or configuration problem. In this way, it will be possible to act at the moment before many requests accumulate.
This message is displayed when,
A warehouse is set as ORM, but :
Does not have the smartconnector active
Does not have Smarconnector data ( host, port, user, pass)
Host or port are incorrect
User and pass are incorrect
Error in SmartConnector that did not receive the message generated by Cirrus.
