We have now improved the process of creating charges for those type of products and services that need pre-authorization before billing them during consultations. This will allow you to verify their status before starting them and preventing users from creating charges that might be rejected later, which forced billing personnel to cancel those charges.

Here's more details about this enhancement :

  1. In Medical Schedule, while confirming patient arrival, a new section will appear with the Apollo status for this request (if has a policy with this type of charges approval) and if their status is Needs Pre-Authorization, the request will remain pending, and no charge will be created until its approval or rejection in the POA option.

2. After this, users from this window will be able to view and enter Pending Order Authorization from the event menu of this appointment (only if they have access/authorization to the POA option) :

3. If you have access to it and after clicking it, you will be taken to Pending Order Authorization. Here, in the detail of charges you can now view a new option for Application of Services, that will let you use the Service Orders application functionality without leaving the POA screen :

4. If you enter this option, you will also here the status of this service :

Note : These pending services can still be accessed as usual in Service Orders window.

You can view how their status will change after changing their approval information to Approved (Document action) :

Approved for creating charges example :

These charges then will be sent after this to Multibilling window, in this case, to the Extension 1 for being paid by the insurance company.

We hope this improves your Cirrus experience. Remember to share this information and ask for help if you need it.
