There is a quick way to configurate one or multiple physician users, available only for IT admins and ECS Staff. This window was developed to accelerate and simplify the creation of specific types of users and will not replace the Physician screen from User dashboard. See this step by step below.
First, you should have the the role needed for this configuration. In homepage you will see the list of configurators, here click on Physician Wizard :
Now you will be taken to this configurator viewer. First, you must select a Role assigned for the user from this client and organization. Click on Next.
2. You will see the Working Shifts configuration, if there's any listed below, you will not need to create a new one. If it's blank , fill this data, then select Add and click on Next :
3.Now, in Physician Information, enter physician's name. If it's listed it will appear on results.
4. Now click on Search by the National Provider Identifier (NPI). Here you can look for your physician's with a current NPI account.
5. If it's not listed, you will see the following message. Click on Yes to create it.
6. Now, fill every missing field for this physician.
7. Click on Add.
Repeat steps 3-7 for adding multiple physician users.
8. Click on Next.
9. Now, to complete this process, click on Start.
