In Nurse Dashboard, there is an option for adding medication that are being taken at home that do not require to be filled by pharmacy staff since your patient has been taking them. This will allow users view their current medication intake before prescribing more medications. This option is called Home Medication, click on it option while at the Nurse Dashboard to create a new Home Medication document or view existing ones :
To add a home medication, follow these steps :
Click on Add button or enter Medication name :
2. Fill every missing medication field (Taking, Frequency, Route, Date, Motive, Dose/Rate, Set it as PRN if applies, etc.).
3. Save to confirm.
If patient has been prescribed this medication, you will see the following message. Users must enter a comment to confirm their creation or revert it.
This current order will now appear listed in Home Medications section, click context menu to view Information, to Edit prescription or to Mark it as discontinued.
