In Allergies option from Nurse Dashboard, you can add or manage your patient's allergic information. This option will allow you to add animal, drug, environmental, food, plant or any other type of allergies or to even confirm that this patient has no allergies.
To enter this option from Nurse Dashboard, select Allergies :
Add Allergies
To add new allergies, click on Add button or select the type of allergy and look for any existing allergies on results or create a new one (gear icon) :
2. Now, enter missing allergic information, such as:
A. Type of Allergy.
B. Allergy name.
C. Status. Here you must select either Confirmed/Verified or Doubted/Supected.
D. Severity. Which could be Mild, Moderate, Severe or Unknown.
E. Detection Date. Not Mandatory.
F. Reaction. Describe allergic reaction, not mandatory.
3. Save.
Allergies will now be added for this patient:
If you have added any Drug Allergies, you will see this information displayed on top right corner of the encounter header :
This will help you and nursing staff to view if this patient has any drug allergies during your processes.
Delete Allergies
If you wish to delete any erroneous or inactive allergies, go back to Allergies option, double click the Allergy to edit this information and :
Select Erroneous or inactive in Status.
Save.
This will delete the allergy for this patient.
