Added Filter for Given Brand Drug

May 1st 2023

We have now added the Given search filter, that will allow users to enter the administered drug name (brand drug name), enhancing their search of any specific prescribed drugs :

In the past release, users could not search for only one specific given drug brand so their filtered drugs were more dependant on how they applied the other filters.

In order to avoid this report being confused with the Dispensed Prescriptions Report, which is for the pharmacy dispense of medications, we have changed its name from Dispensed Prescriptions Nursing Report to the current Administered Prescriptions Report.

Added Columns to the Administered Prescriptions Report

July 24th, 2023

Administered Prescriptions Report will now include the following columns :

  • A. Patient Name

  • B. MRN

  • C. Product Cost

  • D. Insurance Company Code

This to give more details about the drug administration when users need to know which patient received these administrations (there used to be an Encounter column only) and to see the cost of products (not only their prices) and the insurance company code of these products.

This can be seen also on printed reports (last four columns) :

New Column Improvements to the Administered Prescriptions Report

December 4th, 2023.

The Administered prescriptions report has now been improved and fixed in order to better show some important details about the administration of prescribed medications.

Here's the list of enhancements added :

  1. Requested amount and Requested UOM columns were being calculated by week. Now, they will only show dose amounts.

  2. Two new columns were added :

    • Status. Which will display the administration status of the medications (prescribed, held, administered).

    • Administered by. Which will show the user who administered these medications.

  3. A new column for Product Price will display encounter product prices, this column will replace the current Product Costs column.

We hope this improves your experience with Cirrus. Remember to share this information and ask for help if needed.

Date : April 17, 2023.
