We have just released a new enhancement that will let users know coverage status for medications and services before they're either approved or rejected (these two coverage statuses were already shown) in both Outpatient Pharmacy Dashboard and Service Orders window. This in order to let users and patients know what's the coverage status current message but also the Authorized Amount and Outstanding debt for charges that are still as pending from approval.

By this, patients can decide if they want to cover any outstanding debt befre continuing with their processes.

Outpatient Pharmacy Dashboard

In Outpatient Pharmacy Dashboard, pharmacists will see an information ℹ️ icon next to the name of the medication only if these medications require pre-authorization :

And if you enter the deliver meds option, you will see the following information :

  • Coverage status message

  • Amounts (Authorized amount and Outstanding debt)

If this product has any outstanding debt, you can ask the patient if they want to cover this amount by paying themselves in cash.

Service Orders

If you enter any service order with pending approval you will see this same information information in Status column (enter service order to see their status) :

It will look as follows :

Double click on it to see more details, which are the following :

  • Coverage status

  • Amounts (Authorized amount and Outstanding debt)

If this service order has any outstanding debt, you can ask the patient if they want to cover this amount by paying themselves in cash before continuing.

We hope this improves your Cirrus experience. Remember to share this information and ask for help if you need it.

Date: September 25, 2023.
