Price Increase Rules

Set sales price increase rules for products or categories when purchasing price increases or decreases.

As in the Factor of Sale Prices window, in the Price Increase Rules option of the Prices & Products Settings window you can determine price increase rules for products or product categories within your organization according to the sales price factor that is established here. Here we explain more about this window, which simplifies the steps to add categories, products and rules to the factor.

For Cirrus to generate selling price updates from purchase order receptions that vary in purchase price in scenarios where the product margin varies, e.g. when the purchase price fluctuates above the sale price. This will allow you to update the information and configure price increases or reductions for these products.

Folllow these steps : 

In Prices & Products settings window, go to Price increase rules option :

  1. Click on New Record

  2. Enter header for the sales price factor :

    • Search key

    • Document name

    • Description

    • Set as Active

    • Check the Allow Price reduction box to enable the reduction in purchasing price for the included products.

  3. Enter Product categories or products by entering their names and clicking on Add icon. Repeat this process to include more categories or products.

  4. Now enter the Markup rules, which are the document line, top level (maximum price allowed), and percentage in increase that will be added to the product costs to set the new prices with this percentage as the margin.

  5. Save the changes.
