When any patient has a Medical Schedule appointment and this appointment gets canceled, their encounter will be also canceled and closed. In the past, this could be leading to several errors when trying to re-open them as any other closed encounter since they would be only partially opened and Cirrus would not show these encounters in Multibilling or other billing windows.
Since these canceled encounters are appointment encounters, we are going now to display when these encounters were canceled.

When any Medical schedule appointment gets canceled, their encounter will now display the cancelation data in the Electronic Patient Record. See more details:
If you perform a patient search in the Electronic Patient Record and select Search encounter, you will see all of the encounters that this patient has and their status.
Now, if any patient has any canceled encounter you will see this in the Status column. In addition to this, you will also see when these encounters were canceled :
This information will also appear in the General Information tab of the canceled encounter (Canceled Date & Cancelation Reason) :
If you go down to the encounter updates log (same tab), you will see their cancelation date and hour and the user who canceled this encounter :
