Update EHR information for discharged patients

In all of our dashboards - Physician, Nursing, Encounter, Pharmacy, etc - , you can now look for results by patient filter and you can now also look for patients who were already discharged within a selected period. These two new features will improve patient processes by letting you find them more easily and to find them more easily to complete patient files.

Patient files can be completed within 30 days prior to their leave, allowing medical record teams to add the missing clinical forms and reports dictated by a phyisician. Configuration for this 30-day range was created and it can be modified in the future, request it via ticket or chat. (see below).

This is how this new process works:

  1. Days of validity after leave must be set in Configuration of Medical Record, by validating the See closed encounters field and then entering the amount of days in Days of see closed encounter field :

Note: If you uncheck the See closed encounters feature, you will only see current encounters.

Now go to any of the dashboards to perform a search, in our example Physician Dashboard.

In the Search for filter you can now apply by Patient name (new filter), Encounter, Admission Date and Attending Physician.

Please enter the information of the closed encounter , closed within the last 30 days , and it will appear unless the configuration has not been applied accordingly.
