Users can now stop PRN drugs (pro re nata, also known as as needed) from being applied in eMAR and then return these medications to their original warehouse. Held functionality was already existing on Cirrus but it was not yet available for PRN medications so there was no way to hold their application and return them to their original warehouse once they were prepared. To fix this, we have decided to also include this feature for this type of medications.

Set a PRN drug order - (Physicians):
While setting a new medication order for this case, make sure about marking this order as PRN.
Prepare drugs on Pharmacist Dashboard - (Pharmacists)
Enter Quantity to supply from lot and save:
Now select context menu, click on Preparing Meds. You will be taken to Prepare Doses window. Now, save meds and click on Deliver meds context menu option to complete the pharmacist process.
Back into Physician Dashboard go to eMAR option, select PRN drug line and return it using the Held option.
Confirm return :
Go to Movement confirmation, select Return movement and confirm.
Select document
Select movement from the document:
Enter returned amount and Save:
To complete the returning of products , click context menu and select Confirm. Now doses will appear as held on eMAR.
