Now you'll be able to lock and unlock a patient medical record on the Electronic Patient Record.
To lock the patient record follow the next steps:
1. Search for the patient encounter
2. Click on the button Lock Medical Record to lock that patient
3. You'll need to enter the password of the user and specify the reason why you're locking it.
4. And then you'll have your patient lock
By locking the patient record, you won't be able to edit or access the account through this options:
Medical Schedule
Medical Instructions
Encounter Dashboard
Pharmacy Dashboard
Nurse dashboard
Current Encounters
Reactivate Encounter
Close Encounter
Multibilling
Account Statement
Operating rooms schedule
Procedure Schedule
Service Request
On the option mentioned, you'll recieve the next message (See Image)
To Unlock the patient account, follow the same steps to lock it, just make sure the button know says Unlock Medical Record (See Image). Once you click the button you'll just have to enter the user password.
To have this new functionality, you'll need to mark the check of Enable medical record lock on the Role. Make sure your users that will have this functionility have the corresponding Role when they enter to Cirrus.
