High Risk Medication Warning

03/29/2021 When you want to use a high-risk drug, the system advises you to take caution

When you look for the drug it will be shown in red color and when you choose it you will see the warning message in the following functions:

  1. Physician dashboard /Orders (when creating, editting and administering).

  2. Nurse dashboard / Orders/ eMAR / Calendar (when creating, editting and administering).

  3. Product Request (when creating or editting the request).

  4. Pharmacy dashboard (edit prescription or reserve stock).

  5. Physician dashboard /Orders (when you related intravenouse medication).

To use this function you first need to activate the function from Charge Master as shown in the image: search for the drug and check the box HIGH RISK (don't forget to click the save button).

  1. From the Physician Dashboard / Orders function when you look for the medicine you will see it with a red background and when selecting the medicine it will send you the warning message: HIGH RISK.

2. From the Nurse dashboard/eMAR when you mark it and chose Administered you will see the message: HIGH RISK + Name of medicine.

3. From Product Request when searching for it you will see the red background and when you choose it the message: HIGH RISK.

4. From Pharmacy dashboard when you reserve stock or edit prescription.

5. From the Physician Dashboard / Orders function for intravenous related medications.
