View dispensed quantities of medications in Pharmacy Dashboard

02/14/2022 Inpatient & Outpatient Pharmacy Dashboards Improvement

Both Inpatient and Outpatient Pharmacy Dashboards will now include a new option to show the tracking information for that medication and that patient, allowing you to see how many times the medications have been dispensed.

Insurance companies in KSA have restrictions on medication dispensing on periods shorter than 30 days, so this new enhancement will allow you to see the history of how many times a medication has been dispensed and track the amounts dispensed and will help you dispense medications for longer periods of time.

Outpatient Pharmacy Dashboard:

After entering a patient encounter, select any medication and click on the context menu, below the existing options you will find a Dispensed Medications button:

To see all of the dispensed medications from any encounter, please unselect the On this encounter check box.

The columns will show you the encounter number and all of the information related to that medication dispensed for such encounter. If the medication was dispensed multiple times, all of those dispenses will be listed:

Inpatient Pharmacy Dashboard:

Please select an encounter and choose a medication, now click on context menu and click on Dispensed Medications:

To view the historic number of dispenses of such medication, please unselect the On this encounter check box.

The columns will show you the encounter number and all of the information related to that medication dispensed for such encounter. If the medication was dispensed multiple times, all of those dispenses will appear listed as below:
