FDA Codes are a description of a specific product and contain a combination of letters and numbers that may vary according to the type of product or local legislation of each country.
The Saudi Code of Food & Drugs Classification, established by the Saudi Food & Drug Authority gives us the codes that must be added onto each product while uploading its information through the Import File Loader (through Import Charge Master option) where the required minimum number of required characters for FDA codes is up to 25 and our previous limit of allowed characters for this field used to be at only 13 (through another transit field). To solve this issue, we fixed the maximum allowed number of characters for this field, allowing you to import values up to 40 characters for this field ( fixing also the columns layout and order).
Here's a demo of how you can add the FDA code for a specific product:
Steps:
1. Go to Import File Loader
2. On Import Format, type Import Charge Master (for Charge Master of Products)
3. Upload file
(Remember to check the columns order before uploading the list of products)
4. Confirm
5. Go to Import Charge Master window to validate these values
6. Apply imported products on Charge Master button.
