Once you have completed an encounter with a patient and require to bill those charges by extensions, you can go to Multibilling where you can look for your encounter.

Search for it and select it from the results, a pop-up message will appear where you will be suggested to close the encounter.

Click Yes if your encounter has been finished:

Here are some scenarios for you:

  1. Process extensions

To process an extension, follow these steps:

  1. Create a new extension

  2. Select your insurance charges (available on extension 0) below and move them to your new extension.

  3. Click Process (gear icon) to generate Sales receipt.

Your extension was succesfully processed, you can print or download the simplified invoice on print button. To collect your payment and generate the taxed invoice follow these steps:

  1. Click context menu and select Payment

  2. Enter Payment Amount and Save.

  3. Click Process to complete.

Here's the step by step of this process:

2. Process extensions and collect deductibles

3. Collect Cash with no Remittance

If you require to collect cash first instead of charging in multibilling and collecting any deductibles, you can also perform this and it will represent no impact on your other accounting accounts so it can also be performed without any problem:

  1. After the service created charges, go to Cashier Collections.

  2. Enter Payment Amount in cash and confirm

In context menu you can print the receipt

  3. You will see in Collections (Posted option of document) all of those accounts that were impacted on credit and debit.
