In Physician Dashboard you can create prescriptions, enter current information about the patient and their lifestyle, as well as consult their clinical file and discharge the patient or mark their death.
How to use it
In this option you will find:
Header with patient information
The section where you can see if patient has any allergies, is at risk of falling and their Triage level
The actions that the physician can carry out, such as registering allergies, ordering medications at home or discharge, adding a diagnosis, giving medical discharge, checking what medications have been administered based on previous orders, among others.
The Forms section, where you can fill out a series of forms that will be added to the patient's file
Dashboard Options
Orders: Medical Orders given to other areas.
Home medication: View medications being taken from home by the patient.
Allergies : Check or enter allergies
Sliding Scale Protocol : Insuline protocol for diabetes
Electronic Patient Record: See notes taken by other areas such as services, medications, surgeries, etc.
Vital Signs History : View vital signs entered by nursing or enter new vital signs.
eMAR: Consult drugs delivered by hour and date.
Death record : Enter defunction information
Diagnosis history : View or enter diagnoses
Patient's Lifestyle: Enter lifestyle information such as smoking habits and others.
Edition of Advanced Directives: Attach documents or contracts signed by relatives that supports the information included in this option.
Form Section Search: View forms that were filled for this patient and search for any particular form.
Document Print: print patient consents, contracts or any document that by process requires to be signed by the patient.
What you should know
You will not be able to find a patient in the Physician Dashboard if there is no Encounter assigned for this patient.
You can lock a patient's file so that it cannot be used in this window.
