SECTION: 1. What you need to know

It is not mandatory to select the physician to schedule the appointment, only the speciality.

You can schedule more that one appointment in the same date and time, there's no limits to appointments.

The speciality schedule must be managed by the following roles: Assistant, coordinates and manage the appointments for the offices. Physician, who treats the patients.

If you are the coordinator or administrator, you must assign the physician to the patient after the patient confirms arrival.

If you are the physician, after confirming arrival the appointment is automatically assigned to you.

By default there are 4 specialities already checked to schedule the appointment, if there are more than 4 you'll see them at the moment of scheduling the appointment.

Remember to request the role of assistant if you're going to manage the speciality schedule, and also to add your association with the specialists.

After scheduling the appointment the system will send a reminder email to the patient and to the physician, as long as they have an email address already setup. This event will happen also if there's a change in the appointment schedule.
