1. What you need to know
1. The PrePayment patient accounts are administrative accounts and will not show up in the medical services and clinical procedures windows.
2.- Once the account for prepayments has been created, you can start collecting payments using the *Capturing Payments* window.
3.- When creating the patient encounter (at the patient's admission process), the system will detect the existence of an account for advance payments, give you the option to select the already created account and let you complete the remaining information.

To create an administrative account to receive advance payments.
3. Start PrePayment patient accounts
Open PrePayment Patient Account window.
Click on the *New record* button.
Select or add the patient, select physician , speciality and Save :
After finishing the steps listed above
You will be able to collect an advance payment using the Capturing Payments window.
