Now, when making a CPOE prescription during Medical Schedule appointments, you can enter generic drug names instead of brand names, improving your drug search processes and letting your hospital comply with the insurance companies requirements.

To do so, add a CPOE order and select Rx in Select an option field.

Now, in Drug, type the generic drug name and our system will only autosuggest generic products without having to check or uncheck the star icon.

When printing the CPOE report, you will see that these drugs will come with their generic drug names:
