Both Encounter and Physician Dashboard windows have the option where you can add admitting information that will be relevant in further hospital processes such as :
Possible days of stay
Chief complaint
Possible lines of management
These three fields are crucial for giving more information about why patient is being admitted, for how long they will be admitted and what's the possible line of treatment for them even if filling them up is not mandatory.
Now, you can also fill this data from Medical Schedule appointments . Here are some details about this improvement :
First you must start an appointment from Medical schedule (See demo).
Go to Plan and Evaluation tab. Here you will see our new section called Admitting Encounter. The forementioned fields will appear as filled up if this information was added previously, if not, fill them up and Save your changes.
3. This changes will also be updated in Current Encounters and Physician Dashboard.
