You can now view payment status for medical consultations in Medical Schedule and Specialty Schedule windows, this to allow you see if the charges have being paid before starting a consultation. These features can be configured if requested by personnel (see configurations at the end of this article) and will enhance the billing processes for consultations. See the details here :
Now, when scheduling an appointment and after performing the required configurations, you will see in both Medical Schedule and Speciality Schedule the payment status for this appointment, which will be initially Not Paid:
After confirming arrival and according to their scenario, billing and cash users will be able to view the charges in Multibilling (in this example, our physician has assigned a Consultation product) :
Then process the charges extension and perform its corresponding payments, status will automatically change to Paid and you will be able to Start the appointment :

If you must perform any of these settings, request them via ticket or chat.
In Configuration of Prices, you will require to check the new Schedule Payment Status box. This will allow you to view the payment status for appointments.
2. Physicians should have a Product for consultation assigned in order to add the charges for consultation. This Physician Maintenance (enter from User Dashboard), Physician's Organization Information tab:
Also, in this same window, select Office visit configuration and check the Fee Charges box in order to generate the charges for the assigned product :
3. In Configuration of Medical Record, you will require to have the Require Invoicing Before Executing Medical Appointment checkbox enabled if you want prevent users from starting appoitnments before billing :
