Pharmacist Dashboard will now include a new button for viewing and downloading the Dispensed Prescriptions Report. This report will allow pharmacists view every prescribed medication and to keep track of their dispense status.

Currently, there is one similar report in Outpatient Pharmacy but this process was not yet available for inpatient pharmacy and with this improvement we have solved this need. See more details below.

You will be taken to the Dispensed Prescriptions Report, now :

2. Enter search parameters, which could be any of the following :

a. Warehouse.

b. Service Unit. That of the prescriber.

c. Pharmacist. User who dispensed.

d. Prescriber. Physician's name.

e. Date Range.

f. Dispensed checkbox. If it's selected then you will see only those that were completed, if you uncheck it you will see every medication that apply.

g. Drug Classification.

3. Now click on Search.

4. You will see the results that will be included on this report below. If you want to download this information click on printer icon:

Now, Dispensed Prescriptions Report from Pharmacist Dashboard will include the following columns :

These columns were added to give more details about the inpatients that received these medications and their current location within the hospital.

Until now, this report was only including the encounter number but now users can also see the patient and MRN for each dispensed drug and with their room number information, clinical users can also track their location and where these dispensed medications went.

These columns will also appear in the printed version of this report (last three columns) :
