Users can import lists of physician locator counts to improve this process for products that have multiple lots, allowing them to create a csv list with the updated physical information and then importing that on Inventory Adjustment window.

Nonetheless, these users were facing two different issues while doing this :

  • When products had reserved quantities, these reserved amounts were not been considered as a part of the physical count and therefore, lost from the Cirrus inventory.

  • When any of these lists had a header line, this line was taken as another product line and then added as a product.

These two issues are now solved, see more details below :

Reserved Quantity Included

In order to include the reserved quantities as a part of the counted inventory, we have added a new checkbox on Improvement Settings called Include Reserved Qty in Inventory Adjustment.

This will allow to maintain the reserved stock when importing new stock counts. See example :

In this example, we have three lots for one product in our service unit and the three of them have reserved quantities.

Now, see how to Import Inventory in this step by step :

  1. In order to import inventory, go to Inventory Adjustment and create a new document. This will be saved as Drafted. Click context menu and select Import.

2.Here, you will see a new checkbox called Exclude File Header. Check it to exclude the header information.

3. Now, click on Select file to upload.

4. Browse your local file and click on Upload.

5. Product data will be assigned to their corresponding line. Confirm after validating them.

Note : If header appears here, it will not be added as a product.

6. You will see a confirmation message with the lines created. You can change locator to move these to another locator (not your current locator) and Accept.

You can now see how they were added to the Counted Quantities.

7. In order to complete this process, click context menu and select Document Action.

8. Select Complete and Accept.

If you view the product information (Product&Info option from Main Menu), you will see how these quantities are now updated but Reserved stock remains there :

We hope this improves your experience with Cirrus. Remember to share this information and ask for help if needed.
