Due to inventory Kardex control there is a current restriction for those warehouses that have already inventory movements and prevents them from being deleted. The following enhancement will only impact those who have no movements and those that are inactive.
We have now improved the warehouse and locator managing by adding some special validation messages that must be fulfilled before completing any processes involving them. This improvement was added in order to fix some issues users may be experiencing during the processes mentioned below.
The improvements are the following :
Added validations for deactivating locators
Now, when deactivating a warehouse locator, Cirrus must validate first that this locator does not have any stock available. If there is any inventory amounts, you will see the following error message :
Move that inventory to another locator or perform an Inventory Adjustment first. Those locators movements in transit cannot be deactivated.
Added validations for deactivating warehouses
When deactivating any warehouse, Cirrus will now verify that this warehouse does not have any active locators nor it is still assigned to any active service station or you will see the following error :
Also, users cannot deactivate warehouses if there is not at least another active warehouse assigned for this service unit so they will see the following message from now on:
Added validations for creating new service stations.
Now, if users try to create a new service station, they will be able to assign them only active warehouses. Unactive warehouses will no longer be appearing here.
Users can only select active service units and warehouses.
Now, on different Cirrus options that include warehouse or service unit assignation, e.g. Pharmacist Dashboard / Encounter screen, users can only select active service units and warehouses. If they try to look for any service unit without active warehouses, or try to assign any requesting warehouse that is inactive, they will no longer appear. See our examples below :
E.g.
In this example, we created one service unit but without any assigned warehouse, this service unit will be related to the ER service.
Encounter window
If you have look for any service unit related to the Patient Type and Service assigned, it must have a warehouse or it will no longer appear here :
(Service unit from our example is not showing)
Pharmacist Dashboard
Only active warehouses and warehouses with active locators will appear on Warehouse requesting option from Deliver of requested products tab (Pharmacist Dashboard) :
If you try to complete any inventory transfers to a Service unit without active warehouses nor locators, you will see the following error :
Product Request
Product Request screen will only display Delivery warehouses that are active and have active locators assigned :
This change will also impact Trays request from Operating Rooms Schedule by only displaying Trays from active warehouses (for warehouses that are that of Sterilization or Supply+Sterilization) :
Service Units Warning Message
While, logging in, if you select any Service unit without active warehouses, you will see the following alert message :
If you log in to this service unit, this warning icon will still be appearing on Cirrus header, next to the service unit name, letting you know that this unit has no warehouses assigned :
We hope this improves your experience with Cirrus. Remember to share this information and ask for help if needed.
