You can now prepare multiple medication protocols for Intravenous drugs in Order Set window. This in order to allow users to create order sets for patient cases such as chemotherapy where they must be administered more than one intravenous medication.

By adding these medication sets, users must only select the order set that must be applied to this patient instead of prescribing them repeatedly, just like any other order set but now also for chemotherapy protocols. See more details below.

If you go to the detail option of any order set version (click context menu and select See detail) , you can add Diagnoses, Drugs, Studies and Other Indications to the order set. Select Drug option.

Here you can enter the drug name and details. Please select Intravenous route, this will unlock the IV button to the right of this section, click on it after entering the drug information for the first drug that will be added to this order set.

Now, you can search for multiple medications, perform a search and select the drug. Now, in Quantity column confirm its quantities and UOM. Repeat these two steps to add more medications to the set and close this window.

To complete adding this IV protocol, save your changes. Every added drug will be listed in the detail.
