We have now added a tab in Physician's Dashboard patient encounter section that will allow users view all those pending medication doses for the current date (those that appear on Today section) but grouped by their medication, allowing pharmacists to prepare and deliver multiple doses for the current date, instead of following the current one-by-one process.

To view this tab, enter a prescription (select patient name) in Pharmacist Dashboard.

Here, you will see our new tab called Tab-Group Meds, that will display the current date's medications but with their quantities grouped (only grouped, it will keep the dose order). See our example where pharmacist must prepare 1000 MG (two doses of Paracetamol 500MG) and can prepare these two doses but grouped :

If you go back to Today tab, you will see these doses but ungrouped :

See demo about how this improvement will impact on pharmacists processes :

Total/Day Quantities in Today Group Meds tab

Now, in order to improve the preparation of multiple doses for the current date, we added the Total/Day column to the Today-Group Meds tab. This new column will communicate the total quantities that will be prepared for the current date (Quantity will display the amounts for each dose, as in Today tab) if we choose to prepare them at once.

And if you go to Prepare Doses option, you will see the list of doses - with their scheduled date and time - that are included to this group of doses :

This will simplify the process of grouping meds and letting users tell when they are preparing one single dose from when they are preparing multiple doses at once.

We hope this improves your Cirrus experience. Remember to share this information and ask for help if you need it.
