Clinical users will now be able to see a change log for prescriptions in Electronic Patient Record where they can see the user who edited these orders, the base (original) order number and the reason of edition for these changes.
Part 1 - Base Order in Electronic Patient Record
Currently, you can view this log in Medications subtab (Encounters Data tab) from Electronic Patient Record, where in the right column you can select Other Information to view when any order was created, who created this order and if they were created from any other original order (editing this original order to create a new one) :
If any order is discontinued after being edited, you will see their order number :

Part 2 - Edition Motive
September 25, 2023
Now, when editing a prescription created by another physician, Cirrus will require you to fill a new field called Edition motive :
This information will be saved in the Electronic Patient Record (Encounter Data tab, Medications subtab), in Other Information for the discontinued order :
The new active order will include Base Order information, which will keep track of the original order number and if we go to Other Information option for this discontinued order, you will see how Cirrus saved this information in Edition motive field.
In order to see who edited the original order and created a new order, you only need to check the Discontinued by column in Discontinued Orders section :
We hope this improves your Cirrus experience. Remember to share this information and ask for help if you need it.
Date: September 13, 2023.
