Cirrus now has a new window that will allow inventory adjustments to be made for those products that are still in transit, so that users from all warehouses and service stations can complete their movements in a quickly, more intuitive and more detailed way and also improving warehouse control in your hospital.

Transit warehouses are those that have hospital configurators for products that are moved from one warehouse to another, either when products are supplied or when there is a return of products and this product is still without reception (in Cirrus) by their warehouse.

Making inventory adjustments in said warehouses was not possible since there were no transactional organizations related to transit warehouses.

To relate a transit warehouse to a transactional organization in your hospital, it is necessary for said warehouse to have an associated Source Warehouse on the Warehouse/Locators screen (as well as the necessary configurations for transit warehouses):

Perform an inventory adjustment

To simplify this process, we have designed the Transit Inventory Adjustment window, which has the same behavior as the Inventory Adjustment screen, with the difference that Transit Inventory Adjustment will only show transit warehouses and products in those warehouses and Inventory Adjustment will no longer show transit warehouses.

To make an inventory adjustment in a transit warehouse, enter the Transit Inventory Adjustment screen and follow these steps:

  1. Click New Registration.

2. Cirrus will automatically load the user's transactional organization as well as the related transit warehouse into the Warehouse field. If you want to make the adjustment in another warehouse, select it from the list. This will also change the transactional organization information automatically.

3. Save the changes.

4. To add lines (products) to the document, click Add.

5. Search for all the products you want to adjust and apply the necessary categories or filters.

Important: The Filter by option allows you to search for products that have stock in said warehouse or that are without stock, or with negative stock. Leave it blank if you want to add lines no matter their status.

Then click Create Inventory Lines.

Note: You can also add all the lines from this warehouse by not applying any search criteria, this may take a few minutes and the following message will be displayed:

In the detail you will see all the products and their quantities available in this transit warehouse. To modify the quantities in one of the products, click on it:

Then enter the counted Quantity and Save the changes.

After editing, this will show in the product detail:

To complete the document and update inventories, click Document Action:

Then select Completed :

Cirrus will move quantities that were still in transit to its source warehouse.

We hope this improves your Cirrus experience. Remember to share this information and ask for help if you need it.

Date: March 11, 2024.
