Cirrus has a configuration check for each role in our clients called Show Accounting and it enables access to the organization's accounting. To improve the security of accounting processes and accounting policies, we will use this same functionality to apply restrictions to access to both accounting configuration and View Policy or View accounting entries.
From now on, if this check is not selected, the system should not allow the users from this role to edit the accounting accounts of the screens where you have accounting information.
For example, in screens that are form type, the system will no longer show (and therefore will not allow editing) the accounting part if the role does not have the Show Accounting check active.
This check is displayed in the profile tab of the Role window and allows us to add this access to users according to their profile:
If disabled, the windows will restrict the display, editing and viewing of sensitive accounting information in all windows where both accounting policies and Accounting are displayed.
See example with this check enabled :
If we disable it, it will turn off access to Accounting data even in form windows, where users without access to it will no longer we allowed to view or edit this information :
We hope this improves your Cirrus experience. Remember to share this information and ask for help if you need it.
