Our Outpatient Pharmacy Dashboard window will now allow users to disassociate brand drugs after reserving any brand drugs from stock for their delivery. This to enhance the usability of this dashboard when pharmacists must unlink the selected brand drug from the original generic prescription in scenarios where they must change the selected brand drug and select another existing brand drug or when they have reserved the wrong brand and must fix this step.
This button was already available in Pharmacist Dashboard for inpatients and now will be available in OP Pharmacy. See in this article how it will work.
When pharmacists have already prepared the medication from stock for their delivery, the context menu for this medication will now display the Disassociate Drug. Click on it if you want to revert this process.
You will see the following confirmation message : Are you sure you want to convert to generic drug? Click Yes to confirm.
The generic drug will appear again in the list of medications and the brand drug will be released again in stock :
