To use this function go to Pinters and configure the mandatory data for each printer.
When you are filling a prescription select the medication and click on the menu to select Print tags option.
The system display a window where you can to select the printer, IP and click on Pinter button.
The system review conection with printer and send labels to print.
You will see this format on label depending on the type of patient and the medication.
For intravenous medications
You can use this from either the Pharmacy dasboard or the Oupatient pharmacy darhboard.
All labels have the same measurement 8cm x 8 cm.

Changes on drug labels in both Inpatient and Outpatient Pharmacy.
We replaced label codes with descriptive information for labels that can be printed from both Inpatient and Outpatient Pharmacy Dashboards and included some new fields:
Outpatient label:
UOM description instead of UOM code
Route of administration description instead of code
Date and Time of Admission included
Indications field included

This new enhancement will allow you to read more easily the medication labels printed from both types of pharmacies and to apply those values accordingly.

Note 2022:
IT Manager must update the jnlp trust certificate so these labels can be printed
without any further problems.
